‘Expiration Date’ is a series that showcases the potential cause and effect social media can have on people.

 

The shirt design is a morphing of food labels and social media. The top of the label represents the cause and effects of people being on social media. The words were picked based on members of the 27 Club like Amy Winehouse and Janis Joplin. The percentages next to them are the years that person passed away. Further down are social media companies and the percentages are the year they were created.

In 2017 this design won the Apparel Bronze Award in the Nebraska AIGA SHOW.
